   Pat, Well whatever that was that you sent last didn't show up. The space was blank. And I thought we were on the road to straightening things out. Can't figure out why I would be able to see pictures on the board but not here. This is very confusing.

   I'm sorry that I have been a bad member and friend, but between work, being sick and my dad having a stroke, I haven't been able to do much of anything. I hope to do better soon...Pat

   Pat, What are you talking about? I know we have never met but I still can't imagine you ever being a bad friend. It's not in you. And believe me I completely understand about the being busy part. You have been dealt a couple of hard blows lately. It takes enough out of you when you are sick yourself but I do believe it takes more out of us when it is a child or a parent sick. I feel really bad for my husband right now. He works 3rd shift and has been the one taking his father for his radiation treatments everyday (M-F). Then they are days that he has other appointments also. This has to go on for 3 more weeks. But everyone else works during the day. His sister works at the hospital and very often joins them once they are there. And our daughter is off on Mondays and has offered to take him but my husband says no, he can do it. I think a big part of him wants to be the one doing it.
   
   Are you still working the long days? I'm not real familiar with Lupus. I remember the mother of one of my daughters friends having it. I should say has it. All I know is that she has days where she is running around like her normal self and then days where she isn't. Just know that I will be praying for you and your father. Have faith that things will work out. Sometimes I think all we have is our faith. Our faith in God, our faith in each other. Well I am getting long winded here.
   
   Just don't worry about not being there for others, it's your turn to lean. I do miss you though! We will talk again.

   Hi there Kate, sorry I haven't been around. I have been working 12 and 14 hrs. days. It looks like it will be that way for a while. Be in when I can. Hugs to you dear friend......Pat
